Proverbs 31:10Gal .....Proverbs 31:30 Gal

 Dear Reader,
This week my husband has been working the morning shift, and while trying to stay awake while driving back from dropping him off, This has been my Wake-Up-And-Worship-Song.

The first time I played it on Monday, I was just blown away by the lyrics - so simple, yet so true. I wept while singing the lyrics. This morning, I played in the car with my husband (because I woke up late and was barely awake) and after repeating it, I noticed that my husband was getting teary-eyed too. I pray it blesses you as much as it did us. = )

The post below is from a journal entry on March 2, 2010, again compiled with more blogsessing (blogging & processing). In The previous post I shared about how I was praying and seeking to abide in Him, this is the continuation of that. That night (march 1st) my husband asked me what Scripture I was meditating on. Lol, I don't think He was prepared at 1 am for how much I shared (what I blogged). On March 2nd, I was still praying and pondering what it meant to Die to the flesh, and why did it seem like I was handling everything so....poorly, and was so exhausted.
Be blessed. Grace, Peace, and Love. To God be the Glory!
I started to pray and contemplate why it felt as if I was handling everything so poorly. I was exhausted. I needed more of this refreshment. I am a new wife [our 3 month anniversary is tomorrow!- the 12th!] but since getting married, adjusting to more responsibility and accountability has been somewhat more difficult (?) than I anticipated. It's not just marriage, but God is moving more in the ministry since I've gotten married and it seems like there are not enough hours in the day to accomplish all i need to.

While in prayer over what I shared with my husband, brushing my teeth before a shower, God gave me another revelation. Yes, in the bathroom again, lol.God is so Good!

A couple of years ago, I started praying to become a Proverbs 31 Woman. More so, I had taken on the handle of Proverbs3110Gal. I had a blog of that title, and email, messenger ID's, I prayed every day to become just that a proverbs 31:10 woman. I Began to Ask the Lord, "was it premature?" to desire to become that? to pray for it? I was still single, had no children, did I have the right to pray it?

Everything seemed to be going great as I endeavored to become that woman. I earnestly sought to become her. Then God showed me - I had become attacked with those doubts! Somewhere along the lines I had dropped the ball and stop praying it for myself. It wasn't God who had wanted me to stop praying it!  Then He began to show me what exactly I had been praying for:

A Proverbs 31 Woman is a Good Steward - in all her ways!

Proverbs 31:10-31
Pro 31:10  Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price [is] far above rubies.
Pro 31:11  The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
Pro 31:12  She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
Pro 31:13  She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
Pro 31:14  She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
Pro 31:15  She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
Pro 31:16  She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
Pro 31:17  She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
Pro 31:18  She perceiveth that her merchandise [is] good: her candle goeth not out by night.
Pro 31:19  She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
Pro 31:20  She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
Pro 31:21  She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household [are] clothed with scarlet.
Pro 31:22  She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing [is] silk and purple.
Pro 31:23  Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
Pro 31:24  She maketh fine linen, and selleth [it]; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
Pro 31:25  Strength and honour [are] her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
Pro 31:26  She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue [is] the law of kindness.
Pro 31:27  She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
Pro 31:28  Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband [also], and he praiseth her.
Pro 31:29  Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
Pro 31:30  Favour [is] deceitful, and beauty [is] vain: [but] a woman [that] feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
Pro 31:31  Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
